About Dr. Chandus — Consultant Public Health Physician
I'm a Consultant Public Health Physician and Maternal & Child Health Specialist based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. I work at a tertiary hospital where I lead a Family Health and Immunization Unit. Nigerian mothers are turning to social media for health advice before they go to the hospital. They're asking questions on WhatsApp groups, following random influencers, and getting advice from 'chemists'. This platform meets you where you are, speaks the language you understand, and gives you medical information you can actually trust. I write about pregnancy, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, family planning, and maternal mental health. Sometimes I review movies too.
